UK Tour 2023

As part of my work developing audiences and a positive media profile for Fairfield Halls, I worked with the international talent management agency, IMG Artists, the Orchestra management and other PR agencies to deliver success for all parties.

Building a narrative

This was a complex campaign with many moving parts, and regular contact with all stakeholders was key. Delivering success, primarily for my client but also for the other parties, has been hugely rewarding.

Activity included:

• Originating and developing a series of workshops for young musicians attending the Yamaha Music School (YMS) in Fairfield Halls, which added value and differentiated the venue's media offering from other UK and London tour promoters.
• Working with The NSOU and their PR team on VIP lists and events, including securing an invitation for the orchestra to perform for House of Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP.
• Writing features, joint press releases and pitches on behalf of Fairfield Halls and the This is Croydon (London Borough of Culture 2023) team.

Upcoming

With a month to go before the orchestra make perform their first London date at Fairfield Halls on 18th October, the campaign is far from over and there will be much more content and media coverage to present.
